Abu Delta 3 and 5. Not the best flyreels to use but I guess the design was the thing. Delta 3 was made 1966-1979 and Delta 5 1968-1979.

This will stop the backing being pulled tight into the backing by a big fish.We do this on our marlin reels

Most likely if your fishing on a budget you don't have a setup for every crank bait, jerk bait, and soft plastic so having like two or three of these is nice so when u switch from a jig to a senko you don't have to adjust anything at all and that saves you a lot of hard ace and time

you need a reel that can handle serious depth and serious weight
