and also acted as an agent for the United States Department of Ordnance

with an unusual configuration on reverse that is similar to WWI crosses

Germany, Hj. A Flak Helper’s Tunic Breast Insignia Newly Listed and fine period ribbon(HJ Flakhelfer Brustabzeichen). Constructed of black cotton twill, the obverse trimmed with machine embroidered blue threading, bearing a Luftwaffe style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika of identical construction, topped by initials FH in Fraktur script, unmarked, the reverse with three bronze snap buttons, unmarked, measuring 82 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in uniform removed and very fine condition.
