Germany, Wehrmacht. A German Cross In Gold, Light Version, By C.f. Zimmermann consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Type II (1938-1947) - Bronze(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold). Constructed of cupal with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a double overlaid eight pointed starburst pattern, with a central silvered disc overlaid by a black enameled mobile swastika, set within a circular gilded laurel wreath wrapped in ribbon and joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing an institution date of 1941, in turn trimmed along both the inner and outer edges with red enameled rings, the
