BR Mark 1 coaching stock was the first standardised design of railway carriages built by British Railways (BR) post-nationalisation in 1948
Both front doors feature the Metropolitan Police name with crest and the slogan 'Working for a Safer London'
ITEM NUMBER 20-182
which was basically unchanged from its 1934 design
They are also available painted but unlettered for those modellers who wish to tailor them for use on other lines
