Morning Meditations A109791 13"dia) and seven bowls rangingThis painting was inspired by the photo series the artist made of Lake Michigan. Painted on a gallery profile canvas using oil paint and cold wax medium. The canvas is secured in the back with cross bars for extra support. By building up many fine layers using a glazing method, the painting has a chameleon like quality that responds to the changing light. Sides painted white. Wired and ready to hang. Signed on the back.
