A 2" wide band of channel stitched fabric curves around the entire perimeter of the jacket, from a stand up collar in back to plackets forming a vee neck continuing onto and around the bottom of the jacket adding structure for the gently flared effect. Shoulders are padded with a ruffled internal extension to help the fabric puff out a bit.
